| Re: SVS SBS/SCS-01 Home Theater Ensemble: Good Things Come in Small Packages Since I was the first retail customer to acquire the SVS SBS-01's, I have had them for well over a year (maybe 2, who remembers?). They are as exciting to me now as when I bought them. Wayne did an excellent job of reviewing them, and, I concur with his conclusions.
This Sat, I listened to some B & W's diamond tweeter 800 series speakers with some high end amps. Yes, they sounded better than the SVS's. However, it is striking to hear how refined the SVS's are when you think $20,000 and $1,100! Dollar for dollar, the SVS's are surely some of the best bang-for-buck speakers available.
I especially love the amazing surround effect presented in Master and Commander. That DVD really makes the SVS's shine in my setup. Thanks Wayne, Dennis
