Well, the TC-1000 15" has a naturally highish Qtc in small sealed boxes, making for an underdamped alignment, and I guess it could use some more Xmax depending on what your EQ goals are. The Tc-1000 15" wouldn't be my first choice for a small sealed sub project for this reason.
If you don't have a BFD for your sub, get one fast!
