I can't come up with anything. Are you saying in the Soundblaster mixer itself (nothing to do with REW), that most things are greyed out?

Can you post a picture of the mixer so we can see it?

What about the Windows Mixer (playback and record). Are you able to select wave and midi etc?

Did you load the software first and then plug in the USB device? Windows is finicky about that....
