Question Built a sonosub and have a question?

I tuned this sub to ~17hz and came up with the following curve...



Can I cut frequencies to create a flat response to ~15hz and will that have any ill effects? According to Winisd it starts going past xmax @ ~15.6hz. Should I EQ flat to 15hz?
