I took the advice and went with broader filters with just enough gain/cut to get the overall smoothed response to ±3db. The four filters are:
250Hz -2.3dB 1.9Q
460Hz +2.5dB 2.3Q
1250Hz +3.5dB 2.3Q
3350Hz +3.1dB 4.0Q
I have not messed with the capacitors in the crossover yet.
I'm listening to some jazz right now and am amazed at how smooth, clear, detailed and balanced it is.
