I just found that the internal test tone generator is useless. I originally calibrated with the internal tone generator but when I used the avia dvd the levels were louder by 8db. Looks like there is a component mismatch here. If you don't use the dvd than you may not be getting the right calibration. Why even have a tone generator in the receiver? How would I calibrate the tv output?
