I found out where the loud obnoxious humming and sputtering came from. My scaler is laying directly under my receiver about 4" away with nothing between it but the shelf. All I need to do to fix it is move it away from it by lowering the shelf. I could move it approximately 2X further down. I should have noticed that sooner. I am busy moving my sconces to make room for bass traps but when I am done with that I can't wait to do at least a demo this morning.
