Using Receiver's EQ

Is it ok to use a receiver's EQ with REW to adjust subwoofer output?

I have an Onkyo 875 and it has the follow EQ points; 16hz, 20hz, 25hz, 40hz, 63hz, 100hz, 160hz and 400hz.
