| Problems with Samsung DLP TV Hello All,
I have owned a Samsung 46 inch DLP tv for about 14 months now. A few months ago, I began to notice small lines of distortion appearing on both sides of the screen, in what I only know how to describe as the "HD area". In other words, the rectangular boxes that become letterboxed when watching standard feeds (unless i stretch the screen). Over time, the lines got worse and worse. At this point, both HD sides of my screen are distorted at all times. It shows up especially bad on lighter pictures. This happens on HDMI - Component - Standard AV hookups. It shows up on HD Cable, Xbox 360, and even my standard DVD player. So I know its not the feed or the inputs. I have heard alot of the rainbow effect on DLP's, but this doesnt seem to match that description. I have tried browsing the forums to see if anyone has heard of this, but couldnt find anything similar, so I apologize in advance if its been covered before. Wondering if anyone else has seen or heard of this? |
