I don't feel it's too high at all. Many people use a house curve that results in the sub being quite a bit higher than the sub. Read about
house curves here.
I think you may need to reduce the peak at 40Hz and take down the area a bit from 25Hz to 45Hz with a filter while leaving the overall level where it is...
