I've just come across the MATT test available from ASC and am wondering if REW can be used to record the sound output during the test? Rather than using a stopwatch to monitor what split seconds my system's articulation is at its worst (and the corresponding frequency), it would make things much simpler and effective if REW could graph the output on an SPL vs time chart.
I'm aware that REW has a record function that provides a numerical dB reading on a real time basis. Can this function be extended to record the SPL readings over a period of time regardless of whether REW is generating a signal? If not, is anyone aware of a program that does (preferably free
)?
