drdoan, the old can I was on plane-guarded several carriers in the late 60's, Enterprise and the old Ticonderoga most commonly. Pretty sure we got duty with Kitty Hawk also. I can remember some jerk radioman on the Big E asking us if we were drawing sub pay after watching the waves break over the mast at 27 knots......
Probably not going to be a real active member here, mostly being a TV guy, but these days you just don't know.
