Hi everyone my name is Jake and I'm 25yo living in Orange County. Im a Tech support supervisor for a large insurance carrier so I know a thing or two about computers and electronics. Contrary to Popular belief we don't all have huge houses and fancy cars like you seen on TV, instead we have really sweet apartments filled with hand me down flatware, Ikea furniture, and carpet that soils its self with the 20yo padding beneath it. So as you can probably guess my setup is far from perfect which brings me to this forum. I've spent a little time on Audioholics (hope I can say that) where I've learned quite a bit now I'm here because there seems to be a wealth of knowledge about room EQ-ing. I recently got a good deal on a BFD on Ebay thinking that I could just slam it in and enjoy a flat freq response from my subs, but after reading more on the forum it seems like the BFD was the least expensive of all things I’m going to need for this project. So expect to see me around asking some pretty lame questions.
