Hello, I got the BFD (DSP1124P) and it is a nice product for sub EQ. But on my experience, the first thing to do is to get some mesurements with a software analyser like REW (Room EQ Wizard) and work on sub placement until you get a better response. Some little move will produce great improvments. After that you could use an EQ to fine tune your system. Do not try to get the perfect flat response using all the 12 filters, just work on the big peaks with 4 or 5 filters and you will get nice results.
