| New Avid Learner to the World of Audio
I recently purchased some ATH-700 audiophile grade monitoring headphones. Ever since then, my computer and tv speakers don't quite do it for me anymore.
Also, thanks to sites like this, I found and purchased the Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver for my dad for christmas. We're both looking into DIY speaker options. 2 channel mains for me and 5.1 or 7.1 for him.
I'm a senior Management Information Student living at home and commuting to school, so I can't really go all out for myself just yet. But, I look forward to helping my dad with his setup by learning from the pros here. Thanks for all the future help!
