I have to say that I don't recommend using the 10 Hz tune unless one uses only low to medium listening levels (especially music is fine). I don't believe one can clearly notice the added extension over the 15 Hz tune, but the higher deep bass distortion and port noise will be perceived pretty easily. It is true that the 10 Hz and sealed settings shape the frequency response by taking out some of the energy around 15-30 Hz and moving it towards the lower frequencies. That can make the bass sound less 'heavy' and less 'boomy' in many typical rooms. So if that is the case with you, the 10 Hz tune is justified. Just remember that you are deliberately hampering down the performance at higher frequencies by doing this.
