Since the Audio Pro Focus is probably one of the best sold subwoofers in Finland, I had to eventually test one. It has a relatively weak extension. 34 Hz would be more like a woofer instead of a subwoofer. The crossover works as promised and the slope is steep enough. The maximum upper bass output barely reaches 100 dB, while the deep bass output is among the lowest I have ever tested. 77 dB @ 20 Hz won't shake your guts at all. THD stays reasonably low above 40 Hz at very low output levels, but skyrockets at lower frequencies and at higher levels. Group delay stays low at all frequencies. Spectral decay shows only little ringing. Spectral contamination test shows average maximum output capability with higher than average overall distortion. Performance wise geared more towards gentle music use, but the shape of the frequency and high distortion probably makes the mid bass bloom too much, which makes it sound boomy. The enclosure is pretty light and doesn’t feel very rigid. The overall build quality is average.
