Actually, the soundproofing may be a little easier for me since home construction is just beginning, and I can incorporate it as we go. We're only at the excavation/trenching phase, so I've got some time yet.

For those interested, the theater plan is for a 9' x 15' x 28' space with a wall dividing the viewing room from a projection/equipment room. I'd like to project through the wall (Panny AE900U) to a 9' or 10' screen, and have two rows of seats, but I haven't really determined the screening room length yet (was hoping for help from all of you regarding acoustics, throw distance, screen size, etc.).

I'm sure the main focus will be on the upstairs area first , but I'll get there eventually.
