| Hi from Artemis-Greece Goodmorning from Greece,
I’m leaving in Artemis, it’s a place near Athens.
Find you through other sites, when I made a decision to construct a subwoofer for home cinema purposes.
I’m Audax’s drivers fun so I begun the construction with two HD38S-100 drivers.
First I put them in two boxes about 150 lt each of them but they didn’t went enough low, so as I see from others I made a Sonotube sub (220 lt) and put them in isobaric configuration.
Now they went down to 20hz, I don’t have anything to measure them below 20hz, but in home cinema applications they don’t produce enough dbs.
These days I’m thinking to make another sonutube and put one drive per each but as they are quite big they don’t have my wife’s acceptance.
I registered to Home Theater Shack in order to find other solutions and I’m happy to see much more people a lot of crazy than me.

P.S.
Don’t know much theory, but as I know when you put two drivers in isobaric configuration you have the half of the vas.
You have the half of the total or the half of one driver?
Eg.:each Audax is 1055. So in isobaric you have total vas 528 or 1055?
Another think to ask is what happened that way to Qts & Qes? |
