Thank you for your response John. That is the way it setup. If I leave the default in REW and go over to sound preferences the MOTU is the input and output device. Now I wouldn't think that the build in "sounds" on the mac (error sounds) would effect this but I do have the option to send those out the motu too but haven't tried it. I can test tonight. Thanks again.
