There is a big difference between the RSS390HF and the Tempest-X. The tempest-X has twice the Xmax. Either sub needs a specifc size box to get the most out of them. Whether the Tempest is right for your application depends on what size box you have. More info is needed to determine a recommendation. How big is the Cadence sub? What is the model number?
