 new drivers for older sub
Hey guys,
I have a question. I have an older front firing Yamaha ysp-150 amp. it measures 24" tall x 10" wide x 17" deep.
it has 2 - 8" drivers with a 4" wide x 8" long port tube and powered by a 150 watt amp. I do not know what the cubic interior space is or what the sub is tuned at.
so here's my quetions
would it be worthwhile to change the drivers? I cannot go larger so they would have to remain 8" drivers.
also would it be worth while to change the plate amp? right now I'm not looking to build a box I'm trying to stay with the existing box for now.
if you could, please give me some brand ideas for the drivers and the amp plate.
