I don't see any threads on DIY fabric style screens. I am considering a DIY Fabric sold on ebay. I want to know if this is legitimate. The only touble seems to be that it only comes in white.

Can I buy this fabric anywhere cheaper? And again, will this be better than painting the wall or using laminate?

By the way I have an MITS HC1500. Pretty bright, so gray is a possibility...

Power4u,

We haven't had anyone try it yet. If you do please let us know how it turns out for you! As to whether or not it is better than a laminate or paint, I'm not sure either. Again we haven't tried anything like this. I doubt it would be better than Designer White laminate though. There are literally thousands of DW users out there and all are very happy! Except for maybe one I guess. I have the Mitsu HC3000u pj which is similar to yours and I can tell you that you could go with a gray screen if needed. What's your room like? Any ambient light?
