YES! You can center the filter at 20Hz, set the gain to plus 15db, and then spread the parametric equalizer so it slopes slowly/gradually below 20Hz. With the PEQ set to it's widest ratio and the gain set to plus 15db, the slope below 20Hz is almost flat! You end up with a large gain below 20Hz that you wouldn't have had without the parametric EQ. Then you set the Hi-pass filter to protect the driver from over excursion.
With the XTi-4000 the pass band for a sub can be adjusted to an unreal and unrealistic amount of sub 30Hz material. The response is unnatural and not at all pleasing or fun except for that first time when you realize the driver cone is doing a 1000MPH and moving 4 inches trying to replicate that silly setting you have just programmed into the amplifier. :raped:
