Thumbs up Hello Shack! Countdown HT Project

Hello, my name is John (plantman)

Love my plants, music(60's, 70's, 80's) and now ready to put myself to the real test in building a HT room in my basement. I am not HT guru but have a real interest in it. I'm glad to have found this site. I have spent many countless hours on the web reseaching HT info and going thru this tread and that tread. (analysis paralysis)

Looking forward for some sound advise from the Shack members that have experienced what I am about to go thru.

Ready to start this project in April. I am having a contractor finish out other parts of my bsmt and at the same time do the drywall in the HT room.

My plan so far:
Room size: L:19'3" X W:14'9" (after drywall & no windows)
Drywall: All walls 2 5/8" drywall w/greenglue R30 Ceiling R19 Walls
Projector: Epson Home 1080UB ceiling mounted
Screeen: Elite ezFrame 120 diagonal (59" x 104") CineWhite Material

Sound Equipment: a little old but should work OK.
Reciever: Pioneer VSX1014TX 110w X 7ch
Speakers: Klipsh
Frt L&R: S2
Center: SC3
SS: SS3
Rear: SS3
Woofer: Klisph 12"

Looking for advise on acoustics, wiring info, material, etc.

I want to have some fun and enjoy this without over doing it.
John
