I used about 2/3 depth of a 1/2 roundover bit. I have to load pictures, but the finish looks clean and very acceptable. I was wondering about the bracing as well. My only concern was the 20"x12.5" panel peices in each chamber. I was going to cut extra strips of material and place them across each panel to shorten the size of each to 10"x12.5". As far as the braces that are there so far, They seem to be tough as . When we bang on the cabinets, they are "dead". I'm still deciding about that., but these guys are getting extremely heavy. I will end up with 2.25" speaker baffles. and 1.5" side panels currently with the largest piece of lumber not having a brace being 20"x12.5". I hope it will be enough,but I am considering other options.
