A couple of things worth mentioning. I went ahead and used some data I already had logged (before I discovered REW). I really like how it will allow a user to import data.
As far as the wire exposure- this position is sort of experimental, as the sub is newish (a little over a month old
). I used to have the sub off to the right in the picture. This current postion may end up being the permanent one. So I may end up "hiding" the wire behind white plastic covers. I have a plan....
As for the sub's level. I have it calibrated to 75 db matching my mains with Avia II. It seems to sound good this way, although I do boost the level a bit for music, but that's because I like more bass impact for music than movies. It shakes the house with movies as is with the receiver set to 0 for the sub (+5 dB for music).
