Put it inside the box towards the back built into it's own 2.2 cuft box. In front of the drivers make a slot that expands at the rate of 1 to 1 and vent it directly out of the front. If the sub is located 3 ft back and is x inches across you will have a horn vent that measures 3ft plus x inches and will greatly increase the efficiency of the sub. Pretty easy project as well. You could place a baffle in front of the sub and then build two vents out to either side increasing surface area and efficiency as well.
