I read about this forum over at the AVSForum reading about speaker calibration levels. I like to browse forums to learn as much as I can whenever taking up a new hobby.
I always liked music, heard a friends 5.1 system and so, started replacing everything a/v device I own:
HT 5.1 Setup
ONKYO TX-SR603X
ROKU SoundBridge M1001
Panasonic DVD-F86K DVD / CD changer
Polk RM6800 5.1 speaker set
I plan on picking up an LCD TV before NFL starts
For music I have 2 systems:
Home Office 2.0
ONKYO TX-8211 Stereo Receiver
SONY CDP-XE400 CD Player
Polk R50s (thinking about a small sub)
Family Cabin 2.1
Harman Kardon HK-3380
Sony DVD player (audio through the 3380)
SONY CDP-CE375 CD Changer
FOSGATE AUDIONICS FA51.0 (Hafler M5) Monitors
SONY SA WM250 Subwoofer
