could do it yes, not suggested as that is how you can and will kill an amp thats not made for the cold and heat changes.
Do the mod, where did you get it from? are you sure the warranty is even valid?
I havent heard of a single one dying on anyone, I felt super safe doing the mod and have no problems at all. it is your choice but i suggest doing the mod and leaving it indoors.
