I too will have SWs made of 8 12" woofers in 2 boxes. My drivers are the excellent SonicCraft SC300, while my boxes will be somewhat shallow and flat and will be mounted to the front wall, close to where the newish SVS PC-Ultras are now standing.
The PC-Us sound fantastic for music (filtered for bottom octave only) and HT, but I already had the SC300s for another project and decided to try them. We'll see and hear soon.
