Diary of a Spider ... And More Cute Critter Stories (2005) Scholastic's latest volume of animated adaptations of award-winning children's books. The title story, from the best-selling picture book by Doreen Cronin, is a sequel to "Diary of a Worm", but this time, the spider is the star. Felix De La Pena is an armored car driver struggling to make ends meet for his wife and two kids in East L.A.s Boyle Heights neighborhood.
