B.T.K. (2008) Kane Hodder, Amy Lyndon. Real-life Dennis L. Rader lived an apparently normal life in Wichita, Kansas. An upstanding citizen, he was a husband, father of two, worked a good job and was president of his church. But he lead a gruesome double life, managing to keep his Jekyll and Hyde personality a secret for more than 30 years (killing from 1974-91) and evading capture until 2005. He was dubbed the B.T.K killer because he bound, tortured and killed his victims. Extras: Commentary, stills gallery. (Barnholtz Entertainment/Lionsgate).

Crips and Bloods: Made in America (2008) Documentary investigates why the streets of South Central Los Angeles have seen more than 15,000 people murdered in an ongoing cycle of gang violence over the past 30 years. Dadnapped and Hatching Pete Double feature of Disney Channel Original Movies. In "Dadnapped," 14-year-old Melissa (Emily Osment) is struggling with a unique kind of sibling rivalry: she has to compete with teenage spy Tripp Zoome, the main character in her father's best-selling novels. But when he's abducted by overzealous fanboys and falls into the clutches of a pair of sinister brothers, Melissa has to rescue her dad. Passengers (2008) Anne Hathaway, Patrick, Andre Braugher, Clea DuVall, Dianne Wiest. After a plane crash, a young therapist, Claire, is assigned by her mentor to counsel the flight's five survivors. When they share their recollections of the incident -- which some say include an explosion that the airline claims never happened -- Claire is intrigued by Eric, the most secretive of the passengers. S. Darko (2008) Daveigh Chase, Ed Westwick, Briana Evigan, Jackson Rathbone. Sequel of sorts to "Donnie Darko." But when she and her friend Corey are stranded in a desert town, they witness a meteorite crash that fractures time ... and begins a countdown to the end of the world.
