The Barbara Stanwyck Show - Volume 1 (1960) The NBC drama anthology series from the Golden Age of Television originally aired 50 years ago, and starred multi-talented actress Barbara Stanwyck, the American Film Institute's "11th Greatest Female Star of All Time." The three-DVD set features 15 of the series' most memorable half-hour dramas, including "The Key to a Killer" with Vic Morrow, "Dear Charlie" with Milton Berle and "Confession" with Lee Marvin. The Haunted Airman (2006) Robert Pattinson, Julian Sands, Rachael Stirling. Spine-tingling BBC WWII-era ghost story based on the 1948 novel "The Haunting of Toby Jugg" by Dennis Wheatley. Flight Lieutenant Toby Jugg, confined to a wheelchair after being wounded in combat, arrives at a remote mansion in Wales to recuperate. Suffering terrible nightmares and visions, he suspects the methods of his psychiatrist, trusting only his beautiful aunt, But circumstances arise that cause him to doubt even her intentions. Is the lieutenant the victim of an eerie paranormal haunting or a cruel conspiracy tied to his past? (E1 Entertainment).

Inventing L.A. - The Chandlers and Their Time (2009) While Boston had the Kennedys, Los Angeles was ruled by the Chandlers. One of the City of the Angel's most influential families, the Chandlers used their power and their newspaper, the Los Angeles Times, to shape public opinion throughout the 20th century and captain the city's economic, social and cultural growth. Jada (2009) Rockmond Dunbar, Clifton Powell, Jason Weaver, Siena Goines. Gospel Music Channel feature about a woman whose faith in God saves her family and herself during a tumultuous time. Jada (Siena Goines) is a young, single mother struggling to raise her two children in a time of personal difficulty when she receives help from a local pastor (Clifton Powell) who hears her struggles. Land of the Lost (2009) Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel, Jorma Taccone. Also available on Blu-ray Disc. (Universal).

Little Spirit: Christmas in New York (2008) Holiday special featuring the voices of Danny DeVito, Lucy Liu and Brenda Song, with music by Faith Hill and Duncan Sheik. A young boy embarks on the holiday journey of a lifetime in the city that never sleeps in this animated feature. Moving to a new house in a new city is never easy, but when Leo's dog (and best friend) Romona is accidently lost in Central Park, Leo is determined to find his furry little friend in time for Christmas. Natural Born Killers Director's Cut (1994) Dir.: Oliver Stone; Woody Harrelson, Juliette Lewis, Robert Downey Jr., Tommy Lee Jones. The original unrated version. Prior to the theatrical release, Oliver Stone reworked the film, made more than 150 cuts, and removed approximately four minutes in order to get an R rating. New World Order (2009) Documentary offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at a small, but very vocal movement seeking to expose "global elitists" whom they claim are masterminding the breakdown of the world's economy and society. Recently widowed Mary Bassett (Helene Joy) and her three children have hit difficult times on their farm -- they can't even afford a turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner. Suddenly, Mary's wealthy and estranged mother Isabella (Jacqueline Bisset) has come to visit. Mary resents her mother's attempts to help them out of their financial difficulties and, in the end, more than money will be needed to heal the emotional wounds that exist between mother and daughter. Playmobil: The Secret of Pirate Island (2009) CGI animated DVD premiere brings the characters and sets from the Playmobil Pirate playsets to life. I just bought the red roses petrol dvd and am gonna get the cells too. I think there's no expiration date just while supply lasts. i'm excited to see malcolm play a father rather than a villain like he usually does.
