If you really believe that God can help you and cure your wife of this terrible disease, then I employ you to cry out to God with FERVENT prayer, and do this on a daily basis..
If it is His Will, He will hear you and completely heal your wife..
I will also pray for you both..
Amen.

Re: My Wifes cancer

Drf, This is a first. This site. Never seen anything like this before in any kind of forum. It is a good feeling to know that there are people in this world that really care about other peoples' struggles with life. The ups and downs.
I really do not know what to say except that after I write this I am going to pray for you and your brave wife. I am going to talk to God and ask him for a miracle. I am going to ask him to touch her spiritually.
I want you to know that coming on to this thread I read every entry to see the history of your wifes battle. It is amazing how strong both of you are and that must come from your faith. I've read it. People on this forum feel it.
I have been married 35 years and I cannot imagine being separted from my best friend. Reading your story is comforting to know that there are a lot of good people around in this crazy world.

Hope that all is well!

It's O.K, I didn't think your wife had cancer, To be honest I am not sure what mail you are refering to?
But thank you for your post and prayers, I do honestly believe it is working because today we celebrate 9 years of marriage and the Oncologist ishappy that everything is going O.K. So now its a case of trying to get over the various infections that have taken advantage of her weakened imune system.

thankyou everyone.

Re: My Wifes cancer

Sad news, Yesterday we had a turn. My wifes lungs are filling with water and there is excessive water retention down the lefthand side of her body. She is in hospital now and the doctors are going to drain her lungs in 45Minutes. They also intend doing scans and xrays as they think there is another tumer causing all these complications.

Re: My Wifes cancer

Very sorry to hear this, too. My Mom has just been admitted to the hospital with fluid in her lungs as well. Hers is likely from heart problems, suffering from atrial fibrilation for years and being 82. Hope yours turns for the better...I may not be very active for the next week. I will be driving to Louisiana to see her. Will be thinking of you along the way.

Note that we have now begun moving vendors to the new pull down option at the top of the forum pages. You will find it between "Shack Shopping" and "Glossary". This will represent a great improvement in the vendor reference database, making it easier than ever to find what you are looking for.

Contact me with any suggested entries, category recommendations, or additional information about the vendors that we have. If you are a vendor and want your company listed, there is an option to provide us with the information.

Re: My Wifes cancer

Well our fears were confirmed, Her cancer has returned although we don't have much information about it, we are told that she will need to restart Chemo again. Her last session on the chemo was fairly side efffect free for her so we are praying that this time it will be just as quick and painless as the last. thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

It is a sad day for me as have to inform everyone that Marian died last night at 11:00pm. I can vouch that she died peacefully and with dignity. Thank you to everyone who has prayed and thought about us over this last year, I know it has helped tremendously.
