| Sonnie in Houston I got the chance to meet Sonnie, Wayne and few of the local HT people Saturday. We had two SVS subs and a 5.0 system to demo, but the people made this meet fun. Wayne and his wife Donna (God, please let me get the name right. ) opened up their house to us and had a great lunch for us. I kept reminding myself to contribute some money to the cause throughout the morning, but I completely forgot when Sonnie started the REW demo. Wayne, I catch you the next time I see you. Sonnie's demo was exactly what I wanted to see. I'm at the point in my setup where I want to take measurements, so the timing couldn't have been better. I picked up a mic cable at Guitar Center yesterday and started playing around last night. I ended up staying about twice as long as I had planned. My family wanted to go see How to Eat Fried Worms and I had to rush off. The movie wasn't worth the hurry, but it was pretty good. Sonnie, when you come back to Houston I'll show you and your wife around the city. There's lots to see. Also, we love to eat and there are plenty of places to do it. | |||

| | Re: Sonnie in Houston Wayne and Donna are great hosts and I agree... it was a lot of fun meeting everyone. It's good to put a face with a name. Btw, we ate out nearly every meal... our favorite was SaltGrass... the steak was mouth watering. Breakfast at Donna's was excellent as well... Those stuffed shrimp as Grizzly's (?) were delicious too. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to another visit. The worst part was no doubt the drive out. Coming back it was fine, other than driving all night. I posted some pics of the meet in this thread. | |||
