jvc, that was great! The look on everyones face when they thought 'oh no, he's gonna try opera' was priceless. I'm so glad it turned out well, I was desperately hoping he didn't make a mess of it.

Yeah.......he blew everybody away. Did you notice the lady in the audience, wiping tears away? He even impressed Simon! He won't be working in the car phone warehouse anymore.

Nahh, didn't notice her, couldn't see too well at that time as I was too busy wiping tears from my eyes!

Will have to check out Connie, have heard other people say she was brilliant too. Your link seems to have changed, goes straight to his video. I'm sure I can find her with a modicum of searching though. I take it from your comment above that Simon was the resident 'hard nut to crack'.

Good stuff, appreciate you posting it. Caught the semi and final this morning, a great and exhiliarating way to start the day, I'm all enthused.
