I miss it to an extent... but I enjoy the change of seasons. I just wish they would change every other month or so instead of every 3-4 months.

It's the warmest its been in six weeks here and it just crested freezing today. I'm wearing a jacket in the house right now.How bad can winter be in your state?

I need to move somewhere warm.

Move to Australia and every day brings a whole new climate. In Victoria I have seen the temprature vary by upto 20C between the Mallee and the high country. I have experienced one day in melbourne 42C and dry then the very next day 16C and flooding. Lifes never boring or predictable.

Well its -10 C (about 15F) here right now so I doubt that you guys have much to complain about compared to me but its not Christmas without snow anyhow.
It will soon be even colder here as it usually gets down to -30 C (-20F) in late January for about two weeks before it starts warming up again.

I spent in 8 yrs in Uncle Sams canoe club as a Seabee, and he saw fit to keep me on small tropical islands. My temp range is 65 and up. As my friends say I am a weather wimp.

Hey bruce,

That takes me back some. I grew up in the Chicago area and spent a few years in upper penninsula of Michigan. SERIOUS snow up there.

It actually snowed here in the Atlanta area in the past day or so, a couple inches in the morning before that big yellow snow shovel in the sky took alot of it away pretty quickly. This morning my little boy and I even made a snowman. Ok, it was more like a snow-twigs-leaves man.

It's amazing how fast your blood thins out once you've been down here awhile...
