I've removed and modified the ABR in my pair of RL60s and have rebuilt the crossovers and had intended in using them placed near at the ceiling/living room wall as surrounds. These speakers are 96 db efficient at 2 watts, 94 at 1 watt. I received the pair from a customer and have spent weeks of research and development and have modified the manufacturers flaw with the ABRs in them for their use in my home theater. (ABR = auxillary bass radiators), commonly known as passive radiators.

I am absolutely devastated that I can't mount them. I've been on the ladder for hours today to get that done after all these past few weeks researching and rebuilding them. I've got to know a lot of the Denmark B & O forum members during my rebuild. I'm only asking $600 for the rebuilt pair, a pair of stands to go with them, and and a second pair that I purchased out of Arizona that had defective ABRs for back up drivers, tweeters, and crossovers. Everything goes for $600.00 I'm in Houston and I am not shipping them due to their unique design and the fact they won't be able to be replaced if UPS or FED EX destroys them. That is Houston's Bang and Olufsen's policy as well. They make their customers drive them to Austin to their authorized service center, Pyramid Audio.
Thanks,
Mike
