| FS: Hsu TN-1220 "clone" & amp Guys, This is a "local" (WA State - Eastside or Puget Sound) sale only because their is little possibility in shipping this beast. I am buying Darren's sub, so this and other things have to go because I simply have too much stuff. This "clone" is a larger version of the Hsu TN-1220. I used 14" sonotube, and a single 6" PNR Aeroport (tuned to 18hz). The unit has the latest Hsu 12" driver and an external Hsu 250 Watt amp w/EQ built-in. The sub has a modified (and weighted) base so tippping is non-existant. It is finished in spray-on bedliner, and a gloss black paint. It is 63" tall with 4" feet. This is one of the better DIY subs I've built. It easily beats the original TN-1220 in clean output and there is no port noise up to the limits of the 12" driver. You have to use a low crossover since the first port resonance is in the 180hz range. The sub itself would be great for people who have a single TN-1220 and Hsu amp. I live in Walla Walla, WA (east side of the state) and could deliver a reasonable distance. I am also heading to the Puget Sound area on July 21st and 22nd - so I could deliver it to Seattle area buyers. Please get back to me for pics of this sub. I almost forgot the price - $300 obo for the sub and amp. JP | |||
