 FS: Wharfedale Diamond 9.6 Floorstandiing Speakers
I have for sale a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 9.6 Floorstandiing Speakers in black. They less than 1.5 years old. They come with boxes, manuals, and all accessories.
These speakers were review in two high-ed audio magazine and they both gave the speakers high marks for mid-range warmth, low end drive, and top end clarity. The Absolute Sound reviewed them as did AudioEnz and Stereophile (Diamond 9.1).
The speakers sound tremendous with movies, conveying all the slam and nuances of explosions, voices, and mid-range quality.
On music these speakers are at home because they are so true to the recording, without being boring. They are a great match any electronics, even receivers because they are 90db sensitivity.
The reviewer at AudioEnz say's this about the Diamond 9.6's
"With it's canny balance of abilities the Diamonds do a very good job of disappearing and do not get between the listener and the music. With no major flaws, they are a steal, solid proof that the art of building good value stereo equipment survives."
I also have the Diamond 9.1CM (center in black) which is the biggest center channel in the Diamond line, the Diamond 9.1 (bookshelfs in black), and Diamond DFS (surround speakers in black), and Velodyne SPL-800R subwoofer.

I am selling my system because I just had a newborn boy, so I'd like to scale down the system. Also my home is of modest size so to accomodate 7.1, 5.1 surround sound without having boxes are everywhere is a challenge I am not willing to overcome. I'm going back to 2-channel audio (less components)
