| Re: READ THIS FIRST! - The DIY Screen Devlopment Forum - MUST READ!!! Mech and Harpmaker are right, this is purely a development forum to discuss ideas and flesh out the early stages of a new screen application. Anyone can join in, but be warned, this is an addictive hobby! Sometimes the brain storming process can seem a bit convoluted, it's all part of the process though. Yes we base ideas on color science and how light interacts with material surfaces. It would be unfair to say that there isn't a part that is also artistic and adventurous. Many ideas are not necessarily new, but the way they are being used is different than how others were trying things in the past. So if you're interested in seeing the behind the scenes of screen development you're in the right place! Feel free to interact and even join in. If you're looking for a finished solution, well as mech said... check out the main screen forum. Some people say we're nuts... and maybe we are, but we can promise anyone a screen that performs as well as one that costs ten times the price... or more! For people that aren't interested in getting their hands dirty with DIY, we also have no adversion to recommending some outstanding commercial screens as well. All that is in the main forum though. Here is where you'll see new applications unfold. ![]() "Make everything as simple as possible, but no simpler." - Albert Einstein "If all else fails, spin the cat."- Grzboken | ||||
