Re: New to DIY, need advice on driver

Thanks everyone for your advice!

Everything sounds fantastic as it is, I am starting a new project for MOAR BASS!!! Will be building a seating riser and including subwoofers within.

Looking at approximately 14.5 cubic feet per riser with a 15" ultimax subwoofer in each, ported for, hopefully around 15hz. Will be starting a thread for advice elsewhere on the forum.

I have attached a photo of the setup as it is now!

Sharp looking setup! Make sure you leave a link here to the new thread, because I'd like to see how the new bench seat enclosures turn out. I bet you'll be very happy with the output you get from the combined subs in the end.

That is a nice looking set up. What are the mains and center based on are they DIY or are they off the shelf? I recently purchased 2 18 HST drivers and will be building them using the marty cube design from DIYsoundgroup. They sell a nice flat pack.

Awesome, they are great subs!

The mains/center/rears are all from Axiom Audio, if I were to re-do it, I would go DIY, they sound great, but way more cost effective to go DIY. The center is a VP180, the towers are M80s and the rears are QS8s - http://axiomaudio.com/
