Got new subs, need setup advice

I have 2 subs, each is sealed 6.5cu.ft box with 2 DVC385 drivers dual opposed. I also got a iNuke3000 and a Minidsp balanced. Picked all this up from a local seller.

These are the drivers - http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-...oofer--295-190. Would this have similar performance to a PSA s3000i, which is also dual opposed 15" drivers?

My questions are about setup since I am new to all this.

- Minidsp is supposed to have a voltage select jumper but I can't find it in the manual (it only mentions 2/4V, not 0.9) and am not sure I will need it. My receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR609.
- the subs are wired in parallel. So this means each driver is 8/2 = 4, then for 2 in each sub it makes them 4/2 = 2ohm load, right? iNuke has 1500w/ch into 2ohm, so that means 750W/driver? That's a lot more than its rated max, so how do I prevent damage?
- the seller said one of the subs has a bridged speakon, but that end of the cable is also bridged, that cancels it out?
- there seems to be enough capacity to add some EQ for low end right? Is there a guide for that? I have the 2way advanced plugin
- I've read minidsp causes a signal drop and that gain must be set correctly. How do I set correct levels on the receiver and iNuke to prevent clipping, and have headroom?

Re: Got new subs, need setup advice

not to make things more complex , but I would get a calibration mic from MiniDSP and start by using it with REW... That will give you some EQ parameters to work with.... I have the MiniDSP C DSP 6x8 and I can load EQ correction files made by REW... Im not sure if your plugin will allow this..
Your iNUKE amp should be running a limiter to prevent clipping distortions.... I myself much prefer Crown XLS series...If you cant wait for a cal. mic from MDSP, get the Dayton UMM-6 USB Measurement Microphone...

Yes I plan to order a calibrated mic and learn REW. What do you mean by limiter on iNuke?
