SDX12 or UM15 dual subs

So currently my setup consists of Klipsch RF-82ii, RC-62ii and two sets of RS-52ii's for sides and rears. I have one SW-112 and my room is about 14x18x8. It is solely home theater use. I do plan on making it bigger at some point so this will be for the future too (currently converted living room but plans are for dedicated HT room that is bigger)

I want to upgrade my sub to twins so that is the question., what would you recommend? I'm not a fan of huge enclosures so I know that limits What I can do. I'd like to keep it to similar size to what I have now that is around 19-20" ish cube.(no 25"+ Marty cubes etc)

I have the tools to make boxes or happy to buy premade. I would probably use an InukeDSP too.

Budget if it was unlimited probably would just buy some SVS. So far I like my sw-112 but just want more for movies especially if the room gets bigger I want the oh wow factor And to pair nicely with my current setup. As the title states I was leaning towards pair of um15 or a pair of sdx12.

Primary concerns can I get the output from sealed?
Can the sdx handle a bigger room?
One better then the other?
If I go ported can the size be kept reasonable?

Thanks!

Re: SDX12 or UM15 dual subs

Without any indication of budget it's difficult to get very specific, so that might limit what people can suggest.

The SDX drivers are highly regarded, but they aren't inexpensive. If you have woodworking skills and tools it could be a fun project though. Creative's website has some projections if you pair their driver with certain amps. Even the largest are 18" cubes, so well within your size restrictions.

Ported subs are going to be larger than sealed, so if a smaller size is critical you might want to look at different alignments instead. Creative also has projections if their driver is matched with passive radiators (the ones designated as "quartet" in the link above). Generally speaking, subs with PR's are about the size of sealed but with the output of ported. They closely mimic the latter in performance in spite of the fact they appear more like the former.

If you take yourself too seriously, expect me to do the exact opposite

Sorry I didn't make that clearer so budget was I'm happy to purchase either one of these setups and was looking to pair them with an inukeDSP3000

Speakers Sdx $430
Speakers um15 $400
Inukedsp $280

So let's say $800-1000
