Well our house in now on the market and due to showings the RLP15 sono has been moved to the garage. But at least I have a little Onix x sub covering bass duties for now.
Yeah, I can see your realtor frowning on "that thing". We had to pack up half our house before it was "ready"... And our house was pretty tidy to begin with. In the end, I don't think it made a difference. You know, if you left the sonotube front and center in the living room, it might stick in buyer's minds as the "crazy subwoofer house".
My wife asked me about selling... When we sell this house, I'll leave them with the IB option. For only what? $1,500? I'll leave them will the only sub, amp and EQ they'll ever need. I'll have to leave a post-it with www.hometheatershack.com on it, 'cause I won't come back and help them set it up. Well, OK, I might...
If they don't want it, I'll take it out, fix the floor and patch the carpet back in...
We went to look at an old farmhouse that was up for sale.
We had quite a struggle to get through the door and found a 4 foot satellite dish lying in the middle of the living room floor.
The place was on the market for ages so presumably the dish was still lying there.
Perhaps selling the house was his wife's idea?
I imagine a large Sonosub could easily fulfill a similar role.
Had to bring the beast back in for the Cars premier. Sure is sweet!:jump:
