Help designing ported box for rss265-hf w/ winisd?

As a new windisd user, it looks like the "best" vented enclosure for this dayton rss265-hf-4 would be 2.4 cu ft. (2.37 exactly), with a 4" vent, 23" long.

Do you concur?

Does the 2.4 cu. ft. include the space taken up by the vent?

How much air space does the driver take up? .10 cu ft.?

Assuming that the 2.4 cu ft, does NOT include the vent, if I add .17 cu ft. for the vent and .10 for the air space taken up by the back of the driver (mainly magnet), I come up with a total volume of around 2.67 cu ft. If I built a cabinet with internal dimensions of 14x14x23, that would be 2.6 cu ft. If I wanted to shape the vent like an "L", in order to fit a 23" long vent in a 23" long cabinet, how do I design it?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, when calculating, winisd is considering net volume, e.g. after you subtract everything from the internal volume, drivers, vent, bracing, plate amp, etc. So, looks like you're right

As far as the vent, a tube can use an elbow. Some end up using a slot port built into the cabinet.
