Any thoughts on this 15? good for IB?

Not to look too stupid here, but what does qts stand for and what is an acceptable #?

Do it. Go with the four XJ-15s. I think the deal is too good to pass up.

Can I hook these up to show a 2ohm load per channel? that would give me 975 watts per channel or around 490 per speaker. The specs on the speaker do not state power handling. They are 8ohm dvc's.
I get confused on the hook-up.

well if you are doing 4 of them a 2 ohm load cannot be done onto one channel. if there are 2 channels, so 2 subs per channel, then yes it can be done.

Yeah, thats what I would like to do. 2 per side of 975 watts per side.

Parallel the DVCs to 4 ohms. Parallel two drivers to 2 ohms.

Sorry, missed your question....

Qts = Total Q of the driver at Fs (resonance frequency of the driver in free-air). Qts is a measure of the driver's tendency to resonate at Fs , based on its overall characteristics.

For IB a Qts at or close to .5 is desireable.
