| 13w1 v2 Sub Build well ive finally got all the pieces jl audio 13w1 v2 and bash 300, now mike p has already helped me out the the size of vent/box but i just realized i still not sure on a few things so here is what ive got so far; 23" cube with a 2x8x16" vent. my question is are those the measurements for the inside of the vent or the outside? also should the vent run all the way out the double front baffle or should it end before the front baffle and the front baffle is just "flared" i plan on using a 1/2" round over.the front baffle will be two laminated 3/4" mdf pieces and the rest of the box will be 3/4" around, i plan on doing 1/2" round over on the whole thing. | ||||

| re: 13w1 v2 Sub Build The 2" x 8" is the inside dimensions of the vent and the 16" length includes the thickness of the front baffle. You'll also need a camera to take pics of your build. ![]() | ||||

| re: 13w1 v2 Sub Build thanks a bunch mike i hope to get it all cut out at least the box walls done today, hmm would it be easier to run the vent end out the front baffle or would it be better to make a rectangle box that is 2x8x14.5" and then connect it to the front baffle? this is my first build so hopefully it works out well and there will be many more! so hopefully ill have at least a few pix up tonight/tomorrow just gotta figure where to upload the pix and stuff lol | ||||

| Re: 13w1 v2 Sub Build If the port width is not the width of the box, most people build a 3 sided port and use the bottom of the box for the forth side. | ||||
