I want some Klipsch for my house, how I would love a spare set for the garage. I would imagine the W3's would do alright in HT, as long as the box is big enough. But it looks like you love big boxes, so you should be fine.

Here is my first fr.

I made a test tone cd from the download section. I wonder if all the tones are burned at the same db? The response seems odd? The numbers are corrected.

Re: New here, wanted to share my build.

Looks like your dips are about 90 and your peaks about 100. You're in the realm of +/- 5db which is really pretty good. The test tones are all the same level, -20db if I remember correctly??? You can also try running the sweeps with your main speakers turned on to see if their reinforcement helps with the dips at 68hz and 80hz. Any plans for REW and a BFD???

Re: New here, wanted to share my build.

I would like to do REW, but for now I was going to attempt to do it the "old fashioned way". The BFD, I will use if needed, but if I can get good results without it, I would rather not use it. I am going to try to optimize speaker placement, room treatments, and the eq on the integra 9.8 to get a decent fr, if not then the BFD. Unless I am on the wrong track?

Re: New here, wanted to share my build.

WOW, that's a pretty serious setup... I love how those massive towers look, and I can see why you wanted to put in dedicated power. You've also got a very cool wife if she's that into her home theatre. Now, if you already have a BFD, you could probably do a few small adjustments, even though you're looking quite flat already, and I bet you could dial in a nice house curve there. If you don't already have one, like I said, it's pretty flat and you're probably OK.

How did you achieve that textured finish?

Re: New here, wanted to share my build.

I was following this over on AVS but its great to see it here

This is the ultimate reference sealed subwoofer system, as for 130db at 10 hz well and :raped: Your picture of those towers is my new wallpaper

Also i really like the finish on the cabs, real tough looking which is inkeeping with the overall theme of these bass monsters
